The Event:

The POLIMI Graduate School of Management is proud to introduce a new event in the MBA Sailing League: the upcoming POLIMI GSoM Regatta. Beginning from the 18th of May, 2023, top Business Schools from around the world will gather for an unforgettable long weekend of sailing and camaraderie.

Locations:

Two days of sailing on Lake Garda including entertainment and celebrations with POLMI GSoM Sailing Club!

The Provinces of Bergamo and Brescia have been named Capital of Culture 2023 and the Brescia Shore of Lake Garda will be the venue for the POLIMI GSoM Regatta 2023. The presents an opportunity to participate in planned events that showcase the area’s rich history of work, solidarity, and industrial innovation, all set against a backdrop of breathtaking natural scenery.

There are four themes that will be covered in various events:

-The City of Hidden Treasures: In addition to historical monuments and archaeological sites, there will be paths that connect cities and create a shared cultural heritage.
-The Natural City: Highlighting talent and innovative best practices that will help shape your own future.
-The City That Invents: Creating sustainable relationships between settlement methods, consumption patterns, transportation systems, urban production activities, and environmental resources.
-Culture as a Cure: Promoting prevention and socialization as a way to positively influence people’s well-being, and fostering inclusion and acceptance to build stronger community relationships.

Thursday, May 18th:
3:00PM : Welcome and Boat allocation to MBA Teams
Hotel Rooms allocation (Hotel Bogliaco & Hotel Villa Europa)
4:30PM : Welcome Greetings to the participants
8:00PM : Dinner at Restaurant
Dress Code: Informal

Friday, May 19th:
9.30 AM : Breakfast at Hotel
10.00 AM : Skipper briefing
11.00 AM : Start Regatta
6:00 PM : Aperitivo on club terrace

Saturday, May 20th:
9.30 AM : Breakfast at Hotel
10.00 AM : Skipper briefing
11.00 PM : Start Regatta
7.00 PM : Conference at Hotel Bogliaco
At the end of the conference there will be the prize giving.
9.00 PM : Event Dinner at Hotel Bogliaco

Sunday, May 21st:
9.30 AM : Breakfast at Hotel
10.00 AM : Hotel check out
Free day and time to enjoy Lake Garda and surroundings

Conference:

With special guest Marisa Selfa, CEO of North Sails Apparel and the POLIMI Graduate School of Management representatives, many topics will be talked about in the conference of the final evening of the event including Sustainability, Water, Sailing, Management, and Networking.

Pricing:

Early Bird – Before April 23rd, 2023 = €3,000 for a maximum of 5 participants or €600 per person
Regular Ticket – Before April 30th, 2023 = €3,250 for a maximum of 5 participants or €650 per person

Sailing experience for Saturday (boat trip, Conference and Gala Dinner)  = €250
Additional Guest (no sailing) for 1 dinner (Thursday) +Conference & Gala Dinner (Saturday) = €150
Guest for Saturday Conference and Gala Dinner = €100

Only MBA students/alumni can participate to the events organized or sponsored by the RSM Sailing Club.
If non MBA people buy tickets for the events, participation will not be allowed and the RSM Sailing Club will not refund the ticket.
